Fragrant is an asymmetrical triangle shaped shawl featuring loads of meditative garter stitch, simple lace, and contrasting stripes. It is designed for heavy laceweight to fingering yarn and is adjustable to any size you like and may be worked in any number of colours. I recommend speckles, solids, gradients, variegated, or any style of yarn you like for the MC and a lovely solid for the CC.

Along with full written instructions and charts, a tick-sheet is also included for you to keep track of your work and to assist you with adjusting size.

Yarn
MC: 100g lace weight yarn (sample used Hedgehog Fibres Cashmere Merino which is 300m/328y per 50g/1.76oz col. Crush)
CC (solid): 50g lace weight yarn (sample used Hedgehog Fibres Cashmere Merino which is 300m/328y per 50g/1.76oz col. Pollen)

If you would like to purchase this lovely yarn for your project, Convent and Chapel Wool Shop have a great range and wonderful service.

3.5mm (US 4) needles. I like to use an 80cm (31 1/2”) circular needle set but straights are fine also.

Tension/Gauge
20 sts and 32 rows per 10cm (4”) square over garter stitch after blocking.
