Fraisier (genoise, mousseline cream, strawberries and almond paste) has been my favorite cake since childhood! It inspired the name of this pretty pink sweater! Simple and elegant, with its lace cuffs and hem, its slightly puffed sleeves at the wrists, it is perfect for any occasion! It is knitted from the top down, in the round, seamlessly. The sleeves are also worked seamlessly, picked up from the body.

Yarn: 4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins of Merinos Singles by La Bien Aimée (100% superwash merino; 400 yards (366 m)/100 g) or approximately 1290 (1440, 1580, 1720, 1860, 2000, 2140, 2280) yards, 1180 (1315, 1440, 1570, 1700, 1825, 1955, 2080) m of fingering weight yarn. The sample was made using colorway You Had Me At Tricot.
Needles: US 2 (2,75 mm) and US 3 (3,25 mm).
Tapestry needle, stitch markers, waste yarn, 2 safety pins.

Gauge
25 sts and 34 rows to 4 inches (10 cm) on US 4 (3,25 mm) needles in stockinette stitch, after blocking.

Le fraisier (génoise, crème mousseline, fraises et pâte d’amande) est mon gâteau préféré depuis mon enfance! Ça m’a inspiré le nom de ce joli chandail rose! Simple et élégant, avec sa dentelle aux poignets et au bas, ses manches légèrement bouffantes aux poignets, il convient à toutes les occasions! Il est tricoté de haut en bas, en rond, sans couture. Les manches sont tricotées également sans couture, relevées du corps.
