This is a lovely stitch and a fun moderately easy project for you to create!

The sweater is knit flat and in the round… and sleeves are knit flat and mattress stitched. The wee pants are worked up flat for upper portion then knit in the round then legs are are knit flat and mattress stitched. The wee shorts are worked flat then in the round and cuff knit flat then mattress stitched. Beanie is worked up in the round. Booties are knit flat and mattress stitched.

Skill level: Intermediate to moderate

Materials Required for button up cardigan pullover/pant/shorts,pompom beanie and booties:

Medium weight yarn

Gauge for yarn: 18 stitches x 24 rows = 4 inch square when using 5mm size needle

For this sweater/pant/beanie/booties and tiny bears set I used Bernat Fabwoolous in color CREAM….2 balls will be required to complete this set however you will have some leftover yarn. I used roughly 340 meters

Size 5mm (US 8) circular needle (16 inch length)

Darning needle

11 - buttons of choice

4 Stitch Markers

Pompom of choice (or make in matching yarn)
