Frandango Cowl
If you are like me, you find a single skein of Rasta at the yarn store and clutch it your chest and pet it and whisper to it that you will take it home and make something lovely with it. This could just be its eventual state!
This is a good pattern (and yarn) for learning the brioche stitch. The rhubarb-colored cowl in the photo was my first foray into brioche. There were a couple of false starts, but I got the hang of it (having just started knitting 6 months ago).
The pattern is written for the beginner. I was frustrated by what I found on brioche, so I have tried to make up for it by being as descriptive as possible, and have included the YouTube links I found most useful.
The result is a very “squishy” lovely, soft cowl that can be worn many ways. This is my first pattern published to Ravelry, as I feel I finally created something worth sharing. Enjoy!
