Frangipani Top
The Frangipani Top is a part of the Mamma Mia collection which has a beautiful ruffle work at the chest level and a beautiful yet simple open work for the body. The highlight of this top is the ruffles around chest and shoulders and the neck slit with ties.
This top makes for a perfect summer ensemble when paired with a skirt/palazzo/shorts/jeans or trousers. As it is made to measure, this can be made for any sizes right from Children to Adults across all age groups.
Skill level: Confident Beginner to Intermediate
Sizing:
This pattern is made top-down and is made-to-measure, which means, you should measure around the body and based on the specific measurements, the top will be constructed. This makes the pattern easily scalable for all other sizes. The top has a lot of positive ease and can be worn up to 2 sizes above the actual size.
Construction: The Top is worked flat back and forth top-down first creating the upper body front and back panels and then seamed at shoulders to create the ruffles and then the lower body is worked separate and joined at sides.
