FRANIA tee (MOHSILKO edition)
FREE WITH YARN PURCHASE UNTIL THE END OF JUNE.
FRANIA is a lightweight, airy blouse with a relaxed, oversized fit. Knit with 8 mm needles with yarn held double, it works up incredibly quickly, making it a great project for beginners as well. The I-cord edging and three-quarter sleeves give this otherwise minimalist design a stylish, eye-catching finish.
CONSTRUCTION:
FRANIA tee is worked seamlessly from the top down using a raglan construction, with two strands held together throughout, in stockinette stitch.
It begins by casting on stitches for the neckline. The raglan construction is then created by increasing stitches for the sleeves and body until the underarm. The sleeve stitches are placed on hold, and the body continues in stockinette stitch in the round, and is finished with an I-cord bind-off.
The sleeves are then worked in stockinette stitch, gradually increasing in width, and are also finished with an I-cord bind-off. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline and immediately bound off using an I-cord bind-off.
