Frankie's Blankie
The pattern starts in the center of the blanket and grows outward. The pattern consists of a repeated lace pattern that is easily memorized and finishes with a garter stitch edge. The corners are mitered for a clean finish. The pattern is in one size, but could easily be continued for a larger size.
The all-over lace pattern makes this blanket perfect for cool summer nights and the size works great in a bassinet or stroller.
Finished Dimensions: approximately 30” x 30” after blocking.
The blanket in this pattern was created with 2 skeins of Ontheround’s Everyday DK in the Tie Dye colorway. This yarn is a superwash merino which creates a soft, washable blanket with great drape.
Needles used: US 8 - 5 mm circular needles in 24” and 32”, US 8 - 5 mm DPNs.
