Franklin is a slouchy toque with an interesting seeded rib brim and a subtle textured geometric motif running up one side. The seed stitch triangle pattern was inspired by geese in flight, seen flying overhead as fall turns to winter, and this easy, relaxed hat is the perfect topper to take you into the colder months.

Franklin was designed specifically for a skein of gradient handspun in my stash, but a commercial worsted-weight yarn (preferably with some silk or bamboo for extra drape) can be substituted.
