This Cardigan is worked from the bottom up, the sleeves are worked separately and then joined to the body. The body has a little freckles / bobble pattern up to the armholes, the remainder of the cardigan is worked in st st. This would be suitable for the
Intermediate knitter.

MATERIALS REQUIRED
Extra fine 8ply (DK) Merino yarn.
Pictured garment was knitted in Sesia Nordica 125m / 137 yds per 50 gram.
A -- 154 grams / 308 metres / 336 yards
B -- 174 grams / 348 metres / 379 yards
C -- 225 grams / 450 metres / 491 yards
D -- 262 grams / 524 metres / 571 yards
E -- 315 grams / 630 metres / 687 yards

NEEDLES REQUIRED
3.5 mm (US 4) circular or
straight needles.
3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) needles or
straight needles.

OTHER MATERIALS
5 5 : 6 : 6 : 7 buttons, approx 12 mm
(½ in) – 15 mm (¾ in) size.

TENSION
23 sts / 30 rows = 10 cm (4 in) worked
in stocking stitch on 3.75 mm (US 4)
needles or size needles to obtain tension.
