The Freda Faye Wrap was created as a tribute to the woman who taught me to knit - my Grandmother. An expert knitter and crocheter, she spent endless hours making pieces to be donated to various charitable causes. Gorgeous lace crochet doilies were sold every year at an annual fundraiser, while hats were knit and donated constantly to her local hospital for premie babies. She was truly a treasure of a human.

Freda Faye is an intermediate level pattern, that I promise is also accessible to adventurous beginners. She’d have me do nothing else, as she loved to teach. If you get started and have questions, I’m happy to help.

Featuring a combination of lace and cable stitches, worked across a three-color fade, this design requires a bit of focused attention until you get the rhythm of the pattern repeat. Once you have that, it moves swiftly.
