Kiss a frog and you could get a prince … or maybe just frog breath! Freddy is easy to knit up with a simple Stockinette stitch body. Knit his eyes and I-cord arms and legs. Don’t forget his crown! Beads can be added to his eyes for extra character, but do not add beads if giving Freddy to a child.

YARN
Cascade 220 Superwash
1 ball each in #802 Green Apple and #851 Lime Green
Small amounts in #877 Golden and #871 White

Rowan Anchor Artiste Metallic
1 ball in #300 Gold

Like all of the cuddly creatures in this book, Freddy can be knit to different sizes by using different yarn weights and gauges. Need it oversized? Use bulky or jumbo yarn. Need it tiny? Try a finer weight. It’s as simple as that.
