Skill Level: Easy

Size: 12” (30.5 cm) diameter, 13” (33 cm) tall. You can easily adjust to make any size basket you like.

Notions: 12” (30.5 cm) diameter circle of plastic canvas or cardboard for the base (optional), fabric stiffener spray (optional), tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Yarn: Worsted weight yarn (medium, category 4). You will need 1,008 yards (920 meters) of yarn.

The sample basket used 1 pack of 8 balls of Ice Yarns Picasso in Rainbow (color 62626) (44% acrylic, 56% polyester; 126 yards (115 m) per 50 grams). Buy the yarn here: https://futurecrochet.yarnshopping.com

Ice Yarns Paris, Rock Star, or Universe are good substitute for Picasso. One pack of 8 balls of any yarn that has 115 m to 125 m per ball is enough to make the basket.
