Free to Fly is about finding your voice, your joy, your dance, your flock. It’s about breaking out of whatever cage is holding you in, finding that cage and setting yourself free. It’s about leaving the nest whatever your nest may be…your comfort zone, your silence, your shyness your mask, your shield. Wear it when you want to fly.

“You wanna fly, you got to give up the shit that weighs you down.” Toni Morrison

This is a top down sweater knit in the round. There is short row shaping for the back neck. Colorwork begins and is worked back and forth during the short rows. Most of this sweater is knit holding both yarns and carrying both across the round. There are several 3 round breaks in colorwork. If you prefer a more cropped version, you may omit charts L and M and begin chart N after chart J and K. This will make the sweater about 2.25 inches shorter. Watch for special instructions marked with *** for the cropped version.
