Design/construction
The Freezia top is a basic, sleeveless summer-top/tank with a rounded neckline. The LACE is the queen here! The lower body features 2 different lace-patterns worked together.
The top is worked bottom-up and in-the-round to underarms, where work is divided into front and back. Upper front and back are worked back-and-forth in separate pieces. Shoulders are joined using the 3-needle bind-off method. Sts are picked up around the neckline and armholes for the ribbed edges.

Sizes
Finished bust circumference: 79/87/96/104/113/122/130/139/147/156 cm = 30/34/38/41/44/48/51/55/58/62”

Materials
Yarn: I recommend that you use a yarn with great stich-definition! I used an ordinary, sport weight yarn to work the top. The yarn had been so long in my stash, it doesn’t exist on the market any longer. I found that Arroyo from Malabrigo had exactly the same yardage as my yarn. Of this specific yarn you will need approximately 600/675/750/850/950/1050/1150/1250/1350/1450 m = 654/735/817/926/1035/1144/1253/1362/1471/1580 yards. Choose yarn to obtain gauge! Needles: a long circular needle, 80 cm/32” for sizes 1 – 3, 100 cm/40” for sizes 4-7, 120 cm/47” for sizes 8 – 10, needle size 3.5 mm/US4, to work the lower body. The same circular needle, or straight needles, to work the upper body.
A circular needle, 40 cm/16”, size 3.5 mm/US4 to work the sleeve-cap and the neck-edging

Gauge
23 sts in stockinette/lace = 10 cm/4”.
If you fall between sizes you could modify by working at 22 sts (for a larger fit), 24 sts (for a tighter fit).

The pattern
The lace-patterns are charted, as well as written out, round-by-round.
There is a schematic.
All stitch-counts are given.
All measurements are in cm’s as well as in inches.
All lace is worked from RS.

Knitting skills: intermediate.
There is enough interest for an advanced knitter, and I think that the lace is easy enough for a first lace-project.
