The French Anemone shawl is a shawl that have long ends that will drape gracefully around the shoulders and keeps in place without a pin. The shawl is knitted in one piece starting at the outside edge of the shawl. The shawl has a textured stripe with raised flowers.

This pattern includes directions for a large (w: 235 centimeters, H: 65 centimeters) and a small shawl/scarf (W: 160 centimeters, H: 48 centimeters) - the large shawl is shown in the pictures.

The pattern is written for a knitter with medium skills, a knitter who is able to follow written instructions as well as follow a chart, increase and decrease and knows how to do a “wrap and turn”.

This pattern calls for a yarn with a 26 stitch count per 10 centimeters gauge. i.e. a yardage of approximately 175 meters per 50 grams.

Materials: yarn, knitting needles and a crochet hook for the top edge.
