A reusable bag is always a beautiful thing and this French Market Bag in cotton is definitely double beautiful. Simple knitted bag for quick trips to the grocery store, treks to the beach, and of course, visits to your favorite yarn shop!

Pattern is first worked in back and forth rows to form a square, which is then gathered with decrease round to cinch and create bag. Handle length can be adjusted. Although the stitch work is simple, the construction is a little unconventional, so I would consider this an intermediate level pattern.

Pattern include 2 size bags, smaller and bigger (without handles):

• smaller 33 cm long and 35 cm wide (using 4, 5, 6 and 7 mm needles)
• bigger 45 cm long and 38 cm wide (using 4, 5, 7 and 9 mm needles)

!! Both sizes stretches a lot !!

Stitches used in this pattern:
knit, purl, yo and k2tog

Model shown was knitted with Drops Paris but you can use any Aran 100% Cotton 75 meters / 50 grams yarn.
