Christmas theme is always very inspiring and this French Santa Noel was the effect of my December 2022 work. He looks modern and hipster, but that was my goal to make a new version of the old legend.

The ready toy made with the recommended yarns is approx. 17 cm tall. For this pattern I used:

Semi-cotton or cotton yarn in colours:
nude (e.g. Alize Cotton Gold 382)
light grey (e.g. Vlna-Hep Jeans 8230)
navy blue (e.g. Vlna-Hep Jeans 8115)
white (e.g. Vlna-Hep Jeans 8002)
red (e.g. Vlna-Hep Jeans 8008)
green (e.g. Vlna-Hep Jeans 8157)

Boucle yarn in white colour (I used Alize Naturale Boucle)

Furry yarn in white colour (e.g. Scheepjes Furry Tales)
Fiber filling
Black beads or eye buttons 7 mm
Toy glasses 5 cm wide
Crochet hook 2.2 mm or 2.25 mm and 4.5 mm for beard
Needle for sewing the details and few long pins
