Fresco Stole is a large cosy wrap with bands of flowers sparkling in a filigree of lace stitches.
The pattern has been designed to showcase the subtle gradations of some of the new 2021 colorways of Schoppel Wolle’s Zauber Perlen yarn.

Knit on 3.25mm/US3 needles with:
MC four sets/1600m/1750yds of Schoppel Wolle Zauber Perlen 2456 Andante, green/blue
CC one set/400m/440yds of Schoppel Wolle Zauber Perlen 2462 Allegretto, red/pink
Total yardage used: approximately 416g/1664m/1820yds (I did not use all of the MC yarn)
Dimensions: approximately 192cm/75.5ins x 70cm/27.5ins
Gauge: approximately 22 stitches & 24 rows = 4ins/10cm in pattern

Techniques include lace stitches, intarsia, and stranding. I spliced the MC yarn ends: a splicing phototutorial is included in the pattern.

The pattern is charted with written notes and instructions for the charts, and is easily customizable in width and length. For example if you want to use three sets of MC instead of four, you can make a narrower and shorter stole with bands of six flowers instead of seven.
