Included in this pattern are instructions and pictures to crochet a completely No-Sew
Fresno Nightcrawler cryptid! Pattern is worked from the legs to the top of the head.
Each of the legs are made separately then crocheted together. Once the legs are
attached, the body/head are made continuing off of the legs. The only sewing involved
is to close up the hole between the legs that remains after attaching them together and
to embroider facial details. I have also included a text only version of the pattern for
those who would like to print the pattern without pictures.
Finished Size: approximately 9” tall 4” wide leg to leg
Size will vary depending on yarn and tension used
Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Pattern is written in US terms
Pattern is worked in continuous rounds throughout

SC-single crochet
BLO-work in back loops only
Inc-increase (make 2 single crochet stitches in the same stitch)
Dec-decrease (I use an invisible decrease, but a regular decrease can be used)
MR-Magic Ring or CH2 and SC starting number of stitches in 2nd CH from hook
Sl St-Slip Stitch
(X sc, inc) x (#)-Repeat stitches in parentheses the number of times indicated
F/O-fasten off

Materials
Worsted weight yarn was used in this pattern, but any yarn can be used that is smaller
or larger in gauge; adjust hook size for yarn choice.
NOTE: Final product may differ in appearance and size if choosing to use a yarn
substitute. Placement of eyes, details, and body parts may also need to be adjusted to
achieve desired look depending on yarn and tension.
G-hook for worsted weight yarn

Black felt for eyes optional pink felt for cheeks
Small amount of yarn to add mouth or facial details if desired
Polyfil
Stitch markers
Small amount of cardboard cut slightly smaller than the bottom of the feet. Will be
inserted into the feet to maintain foot shape and to help it stand on its own.
