Frey Shawl starts with a Garter Tab Cast-On. It is then worked back and forth in a combination of garter and stockinette stitch, increasing in the border stitches and in the shawl center to create a triangle. The border stitches are increased at a higher rate than the center to make the wingspan grow slightly larger than the center point of the shawl. After the shawl body is worked, the border is created using garter stitch. A rolled hem is added to the shawl body using short rows to give this shawl some additional texture. It is bound off with a stretchy bind off of your choice.
