This design is named after the goddess Freya whom the Vikings worshiped as the goddess of Love and Beauty, but also as a warrior goddess and one of great wisdom and magic.

The slip-stitch pattern of the hoodie is reminiscent of a Nordic wood carving design that may have been used by Vikings. Additionally, because of the hoodie’s sleek shape it is a bit sexy with its low cut front and waist shaping, the total opposite of a frumpy winter sweater and hopefully will make you feel like a goddess wearing it.

Its construction is from the top-down with raglan sleeves. Because of this construction, the hoodie is easily customizable and notes to help adjust the pattern are included throughout the instructions.
