How do you like your eggs? Sunny side up… Over easy? How about with some beads and a marble? Because… that’s how we like our Fried Egg Fidget. If you also like to play with your food, then this is the perfect pattern for you: you can spin the beads, push the marble, and squish the yolk. We would recommend this project for intermediate amigurumi makers, as we’re using a combination of yarn-under and yarn-over stitches. But we have included lots of pictures, instructions, and links to our Amigurumi 101 series to help you. This pattern only needs a small amount of yarn, so it’s great for using up your scraps!

Our patterns are written a little differently with pattern beginners and neurodivergent crafters in mind. The abbreviated instructions are followed by a breakdown in italics, making it easier to understand what you need to crochet in each round. If you’ve had trouble reading crochet patterns in the past, we hope that you’ll give ours a try!
