Frieda Wrap
Welcome to the Frieda Wrap Cardigan Crochet Pattern
This is a written pattern with lots of pictures and videos to create a beautiful wrap cardigan which is adjustable and customizable to your style and liking.
PLEASE NOTICE:
-
There are NO GRADED SIZES in the pattern, it´s MADE TO MEASURE, that means you´ll measure yourself and insert your measurements in the given calculationform in the pattern to create a piece that fits you perfectly!
-
Suitable for intermediate - advanced crocheters, this is NOT for beginners!
Create yourself a real wardrobe staple that elevates everyday outfits to the next level.
Combine some beautiful knitlook shortrows with a clean slipstitch border and wrap it tightly around you with the eyecatching tie!
The pattern includes detailed instructions for
- the wrap itself with adjustable length and ease
- straight & tapered sleeve shapes
Additional “tester alteration” pages briefly explain further variations my testers invented while working it. They are optional and have NO step by step instruction but are well enough explained for intermediate to advanced crocheters to work too!
Such are:
- bell sleeves
- balloon sleeves
- open chest
- different cuff form
Needed materials:
Due to the “made-to-measure” principle you´re free to choose the yarn & hooksize
To create a lightweight garment I recommend working with several strands of lace or fingering yarn + bigger hooksize OR worsted weight yarn (or thicker) + bigger hooksize. Choose a yarn that gives volume such as mohair or a type of blown/ fiber filled tube yarn.
Testers needed between 319g/1755m - 860g/2900m which highly depends on your chosen yarn, ease and length.
Hooksize between 5mm-10mm, depending on your chosen yarn
Happy crocheting!
