Gauge
Fingering weight stitch gauge for stockinette, 9 sts = 1” or 2.5 cm

Fingering weight: US size 0 or 1 (2 mm or 2.25 mm) any size needles that provides a dense gauge for a sock
DK-sock: US size 2 (2.75 mm) or 3 (3.25 mm); any size needle that
