Friendly Dragon is fun to crochet and makes a cute decoration or applique. Instant download of a 17 page PDF with detailed instructions and photos. Worked in worsted weight yarn in shades of green, jade (it looks blue in the photos but it’s more of a blue-green color), gold and red with tiny amounts of white and black. Of course, you can create your dragon in any colors you choose to match any décor or taste. Hang on the wall, use as a table decoration, or use it as an applique on a unique sweater, quilt or blanket. You’ll want to make one for yourself and several as gifts! Friendly Dragon measures about 12” across at the widest point and about 9.5” tall from bottom of the tail to the tip of the ears.

Skill Level: Some experience needed. This is definitely not a first project but should suit anyone with basic skills looking for an interesting challenge. There is a good deal of shaping and several special stitches requiring patience and attention to detail, but that’s what makes this pattern fun to work up! And, I am always happy to help answer any questions and help you work through any issue you might have with the pattern.
