The Friendship Links socks are a simple patterned sock where the patterning is only worked down the front of the leg and top of the foot. The pattern is created using knit and purl rounds and chains created with slipped stitches and purl bumps.

This pattern is written for a 64st count sock, however the pattern does include the information to increase or decrease your stitch count to Work your preferred stitch count.

These socks were originally designed after watching my daughter try to make daisy chains, she so desperately wanted to make them and give them to her friends. One day weeks later I found a dried up collection of daisies in my jacket pocket that she had saved for her friends, and began to think of the fact that knit stitches are what link me to some of the closest friends I have ever made. So what could be better than keeping my toes toasty in socks that remind me of all the wonderful people knitting has brought me.
