This is a written crochet pattern for the frightful forest dragon. It has been tested. There are lots of pictures to help in the pattern and a BONUS coloring page of the dragon for you to color !
you can use any yarn this pattern works well in all kinds but adjust your hook and eye size accordingly.
Pattern notes:
➢ This pattern is written in US terms.
➢ It is recommended to add a 12-gauge wire to the wings. It will help them stand up, without wire your wings may be floppy.
➢ This pattern is recommended for intermediate upwards as there is sewing, shaping, crocheting parts together and basic knowledge of amigurumi is needed.
You will need:
❖ Worsted weight yarn- I use loops and threads soft classic
acrylic 354yd balls. 1 charcoal, 1 white, 1 black, 1 brown, 1 orange. You will also need a faux fur yarn; I use go for faux in neon orange by lion brand.
❖ Safety eyes 30mm kawaii pupils (orange pupil) I painted my own if you wish to, I used black acrylic paint and gold and orange glitter
❖ Craft flexible wire – 12-14g
❖ Polyfil
❖ Scissors, yarn needle
❖ Wire pet brush to brush out your tail yarn fur strands (optional)
❖ 4.5mm & 4mm hook, stitch marker
❖ Mica powder or eyeshadow for detail (optional)
