Designed to fit the American Girl® and other 18” dolls, this lacy cardigan comes with two sleeve variations and two lengths. It is knit from the bottom up and there are NO side seams; in fact, the only seams needed are on the underarm of the sleeves. It has a round yoke which is edged with a scalloped knitted frill, and has a ribbed band at the hem. The sweater closes in front with buttons and includes instructions on making special Bullion Rose embroidered buttons. The pattern includes written instructions as well as charts. Soft and sweet, it is sure to be a treasured part of your doll’s wardrobe.

Materials and Supplies:
The cardigan is knitted with a #1 weight fingering yarn and the gauge is 9 stitches per inch using #1 needles.
Light fingering yarn, (approximately 200 yards)
Size 1 US circular knitting needles or size to give a gauge of 9 stitches = 1”
Extra set of circular knitting needles (to be used as a stitch holder for the frill)
Large tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Four or five 3/8” buttons
Embroidery floss (for optional Bullion Rose embroidered buttons)
