Frillerina Socks are knitted cuff down using the Magic Loop technique. The frilled cuff is worked with fingering weight yarn and mohair held together. The pattern includes both a chart and written instructions.

Sizes

XS (56 sts), S (60 sts), M (64 sts), L (72 sts)

Gauge

36 sts and 48 rnds = 10cm /4 inches, worked in stockinette stitch using a 2.5mm needle, in the round, blocked.

Needles

2.5mm and 3mm/ US 1.5 and 2.5 long circular needle (for using the Magic Loop Technique) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Yarns

Approximately 200-280 meters/220-305 yards or 50-70 grams of fingering weight sock yarn for main color 40-80 meters /45-90 yards or 10-20 grams of fingering weight sock yarn for contrasting color and 6-10 grams of mohair for the cuff.
Sample socks are knit in yarnbylaurelknits SuperSock (85% SW Merino, 15% Nylon; 400 meters/440 yards per 100g) in colorways Monday and Naturelle, and Concept by Katia 50 Mohair Shades in colorway 1 (67% Mohair, 30% Polyamide, 3% Wool; 200 meters/220 yards per 20g).
