Love them or hate them, scrunchies are back on trend (have been for a while now), and I don’t think they’re going away anytime soon. My Frills + Lace Scrunchie is a quick and easy pattern to whip up for yourself, a friend, or for any markets you may have coming up! Flirty and feminine, this scrunchie uses only the most basic of stitches to create that flounce.

With this pattern, gauge isn’t a big deal, so feel free to experiment with whatever yarn you have on hand. That said, I recommend something with drape – not too stiff. Generally, I have found, the softer the yarn, the more drape. In the pattern, I use Lion Brand Nuboo, but I have also used Lion Brand Truboo and Yarn Bee Yarntopia interchangeably.
