These frilly cuffs are reminiscent of the fancy cuffs popular in the Baroque era. They can soften a tailored shirt or jacket, and are an economical way to freshen up a wardrobe workhorse or update a “thrifted” blazer. Worked from the cuff-up with lace and lacy pleats, they are a quick-knit accessory and lovely gift!

The pattern starts from the fingertips and works backward to the wrist to allow you to modify the pattern into armwarmers.
