This light and frothy triangle shawl in two sizes (petite/tall) begins at the lower edge with a frill of lace and progresses through a series of patterns that alternate between openwork and solid garter stitch. The easy to work patterns make for quick knitting as the shawl decreases to the neck edge and allow for variations in the placement of striping and mesh for the upper body. Shown in a two-color arrangement, the knitter could easily add a third shade or work it in a single color—the design lends itself nicely to gradient colorways as well.
Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size and drape.

sample is shown in Bare Naked Wools Hempshaugh Fingering (color Buckwheat; gray) with Dragonfly Fibers Dance Rustic Silk, colorway Endive.
