This beret is designed to complement the Frivolitee Sock kit also available from Renaissance Dyeing. It features the same beautiful warm cochineal dyed yarn with a contrast yarn dyed with weld and indigo.
The centre pattern is inspired by an old Celtic design contrasted with a little bit of colourwork and some lace eyelets. It is knitted in the round.
The pattern has written instructions and charts for the colourwork and the lace pattern. It’s a lovely, becoming and well fitted beret that will cheer the coldest winter day.
