Frizelle shawl

A sweep of great drama in this elegant lace shawl. I am remembering my Dad Fritz with this one. An elegant, yet simple man with a lot of attitude.

Options include adding length, height and beads. The pattern is written, charted, and includes video links for the I-cord bind-off along the sides and top as well as adding beads.

Two sizes available, shown here the small one~
Finished Measurements:
Unblocked: 12/16” in height and 58/74” in length
Blocked: 13.5/17.75” in height and 66/77” in length

Yarn:
Sea by Mary Gavan, a gorgeous light fingering weight in a rayon/linen with a lovely sheen that drapes beautifully. 510 yards per skein.
Used here: MC Blue Slate (255 yards) and CC Tilled Soil (400 yards).

Notions:
US size 5 (3.75 mm) circular needles 32” in length, or any size needed to obtain gauge 10/13 stitch markers
Darning needle for finishing
650 to 1150 size 6 beads (optional)
1 mm crochet hook for adding beads

Gauge: 18 sts and 24 rows in 4” of stockinette stitch, unblocked.
