These froggy friends have just found out they are long lost cousins. They look so happy to be re-united again! Fernando is a red eyed tree frog normally found living in the rain forests of Central America while his counterpart Franklyn is an Australian green tree frog , well, you can guess where he lives! No wonder they don’t get together too often. Currently holidaying here in the UK. Needless to say they are both missing the warmer weather of their native lands. I’d better get them a plane ticket … although they also travel via PDF file (which is probably going to be a fair bit cheaper!)

Pattern includes detailed instructions and clear photographs to make it easy for you to create these tropical amphibians. Worked entirely in Worsted Weight (DK/8 ply) yarns with a size D (3.25mm) crochet hook.

I have used acrylic yarns throughout.

With the yarn and hook specified above, frogs measures approximately 11” (28cm) tall when standing.

Just vary the hook size and yarn gauge to create different size frogs.

This pattern is written in American crochet terminology and includes a handy stitch conversion chart so you can translate to British crochet terms instead should you wish to.
