Frolic is an oversized, cropped Henley-style sweater inspired by the original child-sized Frolic tunic. It is worked in Rauma Vams, a lofty Norwegian wool that gives the sweater its soft, airy structure and cosy, slightly rustic character.

The sweater is designed with generous positive ease, creating an intentionally oversized silhouette that feels almost like wearing a knitted blanket!

The body is shaped with German short rows at the front and back, creating a comfortable, slightly dropped neckline and a relaxed fit through the shoulders. The neckline features a short mock button band, giving the Henley opening a clean and seamless finish. Once the sweater is completed, stitches are picked up around the neckline to work the collar. The buttons are then sewn onto the two plackets to complete the Henley-style opening.

Frolic is intentionally cropped, with the proportions designed to work with the generous width and oversized silhouette. However, the body length can easily be adjusted if you prefer a longer sweater. Instructions are included for adding length to the body while maintaining the intended proportions of the design.

The sleeves are short, with proportions designed to complement the cropped body and generous overall fit.
