Designed to take advantage of the tonal color changes in hand dyed yarns, this alternating lace pattern creates a peculiar puckered fabric that can be blocked flat (as shown). One or two skeins make a scarf or shawl sized rectangle.

The lace pattern is a simple two row repeat--easy to memorize, easy to see. Block with points or block the ends straight.

Can be enlarged by adding width (increase by adding multiples of 10 sts) and length, add repeats to center section.

Sample was achieved with 5 grams of yarn left over.
