Working into alternating front and back loops only gives this hat a beautiful, subtle texture and stretch. The front-and-back motif is echoed in the brim, which you create by working in front and back
post stitches.

As well as complete patterns for child-size and small and large adult
sizes, these instructions include bonus measure-as-you-go directions
for all sizes. Feel free to substitute a different yarn and hook combination that doesn’t meet the specified gauge.
