Yarn substitution: You may use fingering or sport weight yarn. Adjust hook size to meet gauge. Yarn substitution may affect the amount of yarn required.

XXS - 37g (124m/136yd)
XS - 38g (127m/139yd)
S - 40g (134m/147yd)
M - 42g (140m/153yd)
L - 44g (147m/161yd)
XL - 46g (154m/168yd)

The ear warmer can be made taller if desired, or shorter if you want to make a headband. This will affect the amount of yarn needed. The beige headband shown in some of the photos is size M and used 26g of 8/4 cotton yarn.
