This hat is all about this unique long bobble stitch that involves wrapping stitches over the previous work and working them together in a bunch for a stunning almost-floral texture.

The finished hat has an 18 (18, 21)”/45.5 (45.5, 53.5) cm brim circumference and a 6¾ (8, 9¼)”/17 (20.5, 23.5) cm total depth. As this motif is quite stretchy, the small, medium, and large sizes are intended to fit a child, average adult and large adult heads. Choose a size with 2-3”/ 5-7.5 cm negative ease.

The pattern includes notes for customizing the size.

Materials:
Polka Dot Sheep Super G, 55% Merino and 45% camel, 130y/119 m; 100g/3.5 oz.; ~114 (137, 184 y/ 105 (126, 169) m.

Please note this sample is size medium and was knit with 1 skein of the sample yarn in the Singletrack colourway. There was approximately 2y/m leftover yarn.

This stitch pattern uses a lot more yarn than a similarly sized item knit in stockinette stitch would.
