Frost Flower Shawl is a semi-triangular shawl worked in stockinette stitch with a frost flower pattern border along one side. The shawl starts from a tip in the lace section and is worked sideways to the desired length - you can make it any size you want by working fewer or more pattern repeats.

Size
Wingspan: 150 cm/60 in
Depth at the widest point: 60 cm/24 in
Size is easy to modify - simply work in pattern to the desired length.

Gauge (blocked)
Stockinette stitch: 20 sts and 32 rows = 10 cm/4 in, with larger needle
Lace panel: one 52-stitch and 24-row pattern repeat is 24 cm/9.5 in wide and 9 cm/3.5 in tall, with larger needle
Gauge is not crucial for this project, but it will affect yardage and finished size if different from above.

Yarn
700 meters/770 yds of fingering weight merino wool with good stitch definition.
Shown in Miss Babs Yummy 2-Ply (100% superwash merino wool, 365 m/400 yds per 110 g, in White Peppercorn).
If you modify the size, yarn amount needed will be different.
