When Laura saw the Frost Flowers pattern she immediately wanted to play with scale. Because the pattern is so versatile, you can adjust the scale, making it larger or smaller by starting the pattern closer or farther apart. So, Laura kept the sleeves and bottom trim section in small scale, then “exploded” the pattern to fully stretch over the front & back panels. Since the Frost Flowers pattern already had rows of eyelets, She thought it would be nice to repeat them over the upper yoke as well. Laura loves the way the pattern naturally creates a wide scalloped edge and perfectly shapes the bottom opening and sleeves.
