FROSTBERRY is a round yoke sweater, worked seamlessly and in the round. The sweater features an elongated stitch motif with cables and nupps / bobbles around the yoke, and faux seams running along the sides of both the body and the sleeves. The sweater is worked in reverse stockinette, however the right and wrong sides are swapped after the yoke is completed, so the rest of the sweater is knitted on the wrong (stockinette) side and there is not much purling involved.

SIZING:
The pattern comes in 9 sizes (1, 2, 3) (4, 5, 6) (7, 8, 9) with finished bust circumference measuring (89, 97, 105) (113, 123, 133) (144, 156, 166) cm / (35.5, 38.75, 42) (45.25, 49.25, 53.25) (57.5, 62.5, 66.5) inches and is meant to be worn with a positive ease of 5 - 20 cm / 2 - 8 inches at the bust.
The wearer is 162 cm / 5‘4” with 90 cm / 36 inches bust. The brown sample is shown in size 2 with 7 cm cm / 2.75 inches of positive ease at the bust. The white sample is shown in size 3 with 15 cm / 6 inches of positive ease at the bust

YARN:
Dark brown sample: Bauma from Xolla, 2 ply DK weight 100% wool, 50 grams - 125 meters / 136 yards. The sample is made with col. Castanya
White sample: Handspun 3-ply DK weight (12 wpi) yarn. Fiber – Cladoir Irish sheep.

YARN SUBSTITUTION:
Other DK yarn to achieve gauge. 2-ply and / or woollen spun yarn will give you less stitch definition and a more delicately ‘blurred’ pattern, while a more rounded yarn (3 plies and above) will make the pattern more pronounced

YARDAGE:
(897, 978, 1059) (1139, 1240, 1341) (1452, 1573, 1674) meters / (982, 1070, 1158) (1247, 1357, 1467) (1588, 1721, 1831) yards
Yardage includes extra yarn for swatching. Please note that your yarn consumption will depend on your yarn choice, gauge, the length of your finished garment and any other alterations you might make to the pattern

GAUGE:
20 sts / 29 rows per 10 cm / 4 inches in stockinette in the round on larger needles

NEEDLES:
• Size A Circular needles - 3 mm (US 2.5) for ribbing
• Size B Circular needles - 4 mm (US 6) or other to achieve gauge in stockinette in the round

Please note that needle size is just a suggestion, you might need to change the size of your needles to achieve gauge
