Frostbite Hood is a bold, textured hood / balaclava designed for cold, Norwegian winters! This pattern is perfect for everyday wear, outdoor use, or statement layering.

Yarn & gauge
The original design is knitted in a bulky / chunky weight wool yarn.
Gauge: approx. 12 stitches x 16 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch (after blocking).
Yarn: Viking Garn Snorre (100% wool, 100 m / 100 g)
200 g (approx. 200 meters)
Needles: Circular needle, max 60 cm: 5.5 mm and 4 mm
(Remember to check your gauge and adjust needle size if needed.)

You can easily substitute with similar yarns available in your country – look for a yarn that matches gauge and provides good stitch definition and warmth.

Languages:
This pattern includes both English (US/UK terms) and Norwegian knitting patterns.
