Frosted Window Blanket Crochet Pattern

Create a breathtaking statement blanket filled with texture, colour and beautiful geometric crochet motifs.

The Frosted Window Blanket is a large crochet motif blanket inspired by frosted winter windows, icy blues and stained glass designs. Instead of repeating one identical square throughout the project, this blanket combines circles, hexagons, octagons, diamonds and squares in different sizes to create a striking mosaic effect.

A total of 40 motifs come together to form the finished blanket.

Many of the shaped motifs are transformed into squares or rectangles before joining, reducing the need for lots of small filler pieces and making assembly much easier.

The combination of raised popcorn stitches, crochet clusters, geometric shapes and layered colour changes creates an heirloom style blanket that is both interesting to make and beautiful to display.
