Frosted Windowpane Blanket
A free version is also available.
Picture a frosty window on a winter morning, with crisp lattice panes, delicate snowflakes tucked into every corner, and something warm and cozy to curl up under. That’s the inspiration behind the Frosted Windowpane Blanket.
To create this 48” x 64” blanket, you’ll work multiples of two different strips and three different snowflake squares using overlay mosaic crochet. Once your pieces are finished, you’ll join them with back-loop-only single crochet and frame the entire blanket with a signature mosaic crochet envelope border that cleverly hides your ends as you go.
The pattern includes full mosaic crochet charts and written instructions for all five designs, joining instructions, and instructions for the envelope border. You’ll also find links to video tutorials for the joining technique and a simple border option.
**A free version of the blanket pattern, which includes written instructions only for the first two sections of the blanket, is available on the blog.**
