The Frou Frou Socks are worked from the toe up using the Magic Loop technique. Choose from three beautiful cuff options—from simple and elegant to delightfully playful. A Shadow Wrap Short Row Heel with gussets creates a comfortable, well-shaped fit, making these socks as lovely to wear as they are to knit.

Finished sock circumference: 6 (6¾) 7½ (8¼) in / 15.5 (17) 19 (21) cm. Foot length is adjustable.
To fit foot circumference: 7 (7¾) 8½ (9¼) in / 18 (19.5) 21.5 (23.5) cm.
Recommended fit is approx. 1 in / 2.5 cm of nega-tive ease in circumference.

Needles and Notions
US 1 / 2.25 mm (32 in / 80 cm) circular needles for Magic Loop method
(Adjust the needle size to obtain gauge!)
2 removable stitch markers
tapestry needle, scissors

Gauge
35 sts x 56 rows = 4 x 4 in / 10 x 10 cm over Stockinette Stitch, measured after blocking.

Recommended Yarn:
Fingering weight sock yarn, approx. 440-460 yds / 400-420 m per 3½ oz / 100 g, in solid or semi-solid colour. Variegated yarn is not recommended because the lace pattern could get lost.

For cuff option A you need two contrast colours. The yarn for the ruffle can be a leftover, because you need approx. ½ oz / 10 g (or 44 yds / 40 m) of sock yarn.

Sample B – rib with rolled cuff
