This triangular shawl “Frozen Dreams” is a delicate beauty that is knitted from the bottom up. The triangular shape is formed using the traditional Estonian shawl knitting method - decreasing in the middle and on the edges. This means that knitting the shawl will get easier and easier due to decreasing number of stitches.

There are 4 different patterns and multiple Estonian lace knitting techniques starting from infamous “nupp”s and ending with gathered stitches. Beads will add that special zing to your project to keep you on your toes. Nothing boring or mundane.

Also, you can opt-out from “nupp”s and beads replacing them with a simple knit stitch.

The shawl on the picture is knitted with cobweb yarn, but you can use any lace weight yarn you like. As always you can choose between written instructions and charts. Now all you need is yarn and needles.

Remember! We can knit anything two rows at a time. ♥︎
