I love the look of the embossed leaves from the Frozen Leaves Beanie pattern I created in Feb 2018 and have always wanted to create a bag or clutch using the same type of stitch. With a winter holiday coming up, I decided it would be great to have a new little clutch for evenings out to fit my phone and other accessories, so this little clutch came to be! I very much love how the texture and shape of this clutch came to life when sewing it onto the metal frame and how with the right lining (if I knew how to line a project properly ), this would look like a perfectly little vintage clutch!! I am so pleased with how this worked up and cannot wait to see your creations as well! Be sure to share them in the projects section!!!

For this project, you will need a few things:
• Yarn: Any Cotton DK (#3) will do! I used the following:
Clutch #1: Phildar Phil Coton 3 in 0058 - Jade and SIRDAR Cotton DK in 532 – Lotus
Clutch #2: Wendy Supreme Cotton DK in 1961 - Dove
This clutch uses a combined total of approx. 400 yds
• Crochet Hook: G/4.00mm (size down to E/3.5mm or F/3.75mm if you crochet loose)
• Metal frame (kiss clasp) – 15cm
I purchased mine here --> https://ebay.us/rPXcj4
• Chain to add to your clasp for handle (if desired) and rings to attach (I used small key rings from the dollar store)
• Charms (if desired)
• Darning Needle (to weave in ends) and a fine needle for sewing your clutch onto the frame

Finished clutch size when laying flat: 9” wide x 6-3/4” tall

Experience Level: Intermediate (due to details as you increase each round. Easy once you catch on - just requires concentration and attention).
