The Frozen Moss Beanie is loosely inspired by the Moss Stitch and has a more varied pattern with a texture that really pops in the right light.

What makes this hat especially unique is that instead of using regular knits, it employs the ‘k tbl’ (knit through the back loop) stitch; this results in the knits really popping when contrasted with the purl stitches between them. Since there is less flexibility in the back loop knits, the purls are the primary source of stretchiness, thus you need to have more stitches than a beanie with regular knits of this size. The size is appropriate for an average adult head with a lot of flexibility and the style is unisex. This beanie is moderately challenging and is suitable for the late beginner or early intermediate knitter.
